How to make a ranking of the most luxurious brands without including the world-famous Porsche. The German luxury car brand offers a range of sports cars. The most popular model is of course the Porsche 911. The first generation of this car dates back to 1964, today more than 50 years later, the flagship model of the brand still keeps the same aestheticism and the name. A second-hand Porsche 911 has now become a very affordable car, even if the recent models hardly sell for less than 100k euros.
So, Porsche remains a brand offering quality sports cars, some of these models have accessible price levels.
9. Mercedes Benz
Still German, Mercedes Benz is a manufacturer of premium, sports and luxury cars. But also coaches and trucks. Despite an history full of ups and downs, especially during the Second World War when the brand was forced to produce for the German army, exploiting French and Soviet workers, Mercedes is today a brand imposing a certain class.
The range of Mercedes is really very varied, from the Mercedes Citan van to much more sporty and eye-catching models like the famous SLS and its vertical door opening, which is actually similar to that of our Cirrus Sr22! In short, Mercedes remains a pledge of quality, with a very varied range to reach all users.
8. Lotus Cars
Lotus is an English sports and racing car manufacturer. It is quite rare to see a Lotus in the street, but when you see one you notice it!
Lotus offers compact sports models, such as the famous Lotus Elise and the Lotus Evora. There are also many models that are highly prized by collectors, such as the Lotus Excel, straight out of a science fiction series from the 80s and which looks a lot like the Pontiac (K.I.T.T.) from K2000! Its retractable headlights give it an old school touch.

Italian car manufacturer specializes in luxury sports and racing cars. The brand was founded by the Maserati brothers in 1914, its logo is a trident which is inspired by the Neptune fountain in the city of Bologna. Several times bought and then sold (notably by Citroën in 1968) Maserati had a cooperation with Chrysler before being definitively taken over by Fiat.
In order to be able to enjoy the quality of Italian sports cars, you will still have to pay nearly 100k euros for a second hand car.
6. Aston Martin
How can we not know this British brand widely highlighted by the James Bond films. In 1913, the pilot Lionel Martin created a car in order to participate in the Aston Clinton race of which he was the winner in 1914. The merger of the two names gave Aston Martin. The logo comes from the Egyptian god Khepri, symbolized by a beetle.
Aston Martin represents the perfect combination of classy and fast cars. You can choose your favourite between the Aston Martin Vantage, the Rapide or the DB11, a descendant of the DB5 which was the first model to appear in James Bond Goldfinger in 1964.
Now we’re talking about luxury cars! Bentley, founded in 1919 in Cricklewood, North London.
The brand became known to the general public thanks to numerous victories in the 24h Du Mans, in 1924, 1927, 1928, 1929 and 1930.
Prominent models testify to Bentley’s historic dominance in motor racing, such as the 4 1/2 liter Bentley, the Bentley R Type Continental and the Bentley Turbo R.
Today Bentley offers a range of luxury sedans and SUVs. For the sum of 200k euros, you can treat yourself to a Bentley Continental. No more excuses for not arriving on time for your appointments with this almost 5 meters long and 2500 kg mastodon powered by some 558 horses.

The Bugatti cars that made history were the Type 30 Grand Prix, the Type 41 Royale, the Type 57 Atlantique and the Type 55 sports car.
After Ettore Bugatti’s death in 1947, the brand went bankrupt, but was put back on track in 1950 by an Italian entrepreneur. Today the brand is owned by the Volkswagen Group.
Do you want to turn heads when you drive through the city centre? This car is made for you! It will be very difficult to find a Bugatti Veyron for less than 1 million euros and the Chiron will cost you 2.5 million but will provide you with no less than 1,500 horsepower for sure acceleration.

Ferrari, probably the most popular and recognized car brand in the world. Scuderia Ferrari was founded in 1929 by Enzo Ferrari. Enzo was himself a race driver for Alpha Romeo when he decided to launch the Scuderia Ferrari.

While the Avio Costruzioni 815 produced in 1940, which remained in the shadow of the Second World War, still participates today in classic car races.
In 1947, the legendary Ferrari 125 was built and won the 1947 Rome Grand Prix.
Michael Schumacher put a lot of emphasis on the brand during his 10 years of driving in Formula 1 between 1996 and 2006 where he won 72 victories and 5 world titles. Have a look to our Formula One blog here!

A top 10 for luxury car brands has to involve a Lamborghini! Did you hear thunderstorms when the skies were clear? Look no further, it’s probably a Lamborghini Aventador just around the corner!
Lamborghini was founded in 1963 by Ferruccio Lamborghini. Initially specializing in the construction of tractors in post-war Italy, Ferrucio Lamborghini made his fortune in the space of 10 years.
The Lamborghini group then devoted itself exclusively to the construction of prestigious sports cars. In 1998 the Volkswagen group will take over Lamborghini.
In spite of an absence from the competitive scene, the 350 GT and Huracan models managed to stand alongside exceptional cars.
For 180k euros you will have the possibility to go to work in a Lamborghini Huracan, for an Aventador you will have to pay more than 340 K euros !
1. Rolls-Royce Motor Cars
It was in 1904 that Roll Royce started building cars. Created by Charles-Royce who died in 1910, the logo of the brand “RR” will pass from red to black.

Nationalized in 1971, Rolls Royce finally divided into two entities, the automotive division under the name Rolls Royce Motors and the aerospace division, Rolls Royce plc.
Unlike many of the brands mentioned above, Rolls Royce only offers SUVs and other luxury car and no sports cars.
